Tucson Youth Football and Spirit is not just a sports organization, it is an experience where kids learn confidence, respect and to succeed through hard work and discipline.

The Foothills Chargers Youth Football and Spirit Team is about to begin our ninth season of youth football and cheerleading in Tucson. We have been fortunate to have amazing volunteer coaches and dedicated team parents to make our teams very successful. Since our first year, we have had teams in the City Championships every season. The Chargers look to have seven football teams this season, one in each division and cheer teams of all ages.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARGERS CHEER !!

The PW and JM teams are CITY CHEER CHAMPIONS and placed 1st in their divisions. Both teams will advance to Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada in January. Flag Cheer and Mitey Mite Cheer teams also participated and did an outstanding job.

A special congratulations to Tiana Balazs, Katie Leslie, Ellie Pingry, Natalie Stevens and Hanna Sturtevant ... these loyal cheerleaders have been part of Chargers Cheer for many years and have now won their 5th CONSECUTIVE City Cheer Championship as a CHARGER !

Shout out also goes to Brianna Davis and Tatiana Deluca for winning their 4th CONSECUTIVE Cheer Championship !

And Finally, a huge thank you and congratulations to Cheer Directors Dawn Colston and Kristie Stevens.  Thanks to their great leadership and tireless work, the Chargers Organization has set a level of excellence for cheer that is unmatched.
